Old man winter is here!

Has old man winter hit your area?
It has here in the pacific northwest....we are going to have a White Christmas!!
We have not had one in several years.
Above is my new digital sign that is in my etsy shop.
I love working in adobe illustrator...making this sign with snowflakes.
With all my digital signs...you get a file to download instantly and u print....for only $5.99

Another item I have loaded up are my new candy cane licking gal tags....
perfect for gift tags.
They come on a sheet...u download and u print.
Just cut out and use over and over and over.

12 tags in one sheet.
They are even cute tied to a lil wreath or as part of a place setting.

My family had a progressive party last night...where you go around to each house to see the decorations and have food...it was so much fun and we watched a funny Carol Burnett Christmas special and then played lots of games...very fun to get together,
We want to stay home on Christmas and just have fun at home....with all this snow!!
By the way...with all the Star wars hoopla....I wanted to share my Xmas 1977 picture...I am the one with red hair and the Star Wars t-shirt!  My sister Julie there made all the stockings...and I still have the my ballerina stocking!
Seeing this brings back so many fun memories!!
It is funny how a picture just brings it all back.

Hope you have a terrific week!!!

I have been learning more on illustrator....Learning how to color behind a drawing.
I took one of my designs that was just black line drawing and then added color...I was thrilled.  I have better luck with a new technique from the Roost Tribe.
Go to Bonnie Christine's Going home to roost for a free....and beautiful printable calendar!

You know how I love old fashioned retro cuteness....this is my candle design...a repeating pattern.
These seriously remind me of wrapping paper when I was a kid!
The red sure is bright!
I love it...my daughter painted her whole living space in the lower part of our home bright red...my mom would have loved that and her.
Red always reminds me of mom.
The angel design above is vintage wrap I have...it is part of my collection...I took the colors from the paper to make a great color palette.  Sometimes color choices are the most important thing about a project.
Hahaha...
I had to throw in this funny pink retro doll....just another corny decoration to throw at you!
I would have loved it when I was a kid.

Today I spent (but sometimes felt like wasted) the day figuring out my new pantone color guide.
These swatches can be put into your computer to make a perfect color palette for your fabric designs  or projects to be printed by a printer or company .... they can duplicate it exactly.
Learning is never a waste...so I take back what I said.....I spent the day wisely!!
------------------
My hubby spoiled me with this.....for our 19th Wedding Anniversary on Monday!
I love it and will always cherish it!
He is a very understanding man...I can talk crafts, quilting, painting, and all.....and he doesn't go nuts or cross-eyed.
He is very supportive and is very proud of my accomplishments!
Love him!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My flash cards above....the digital file...u print sayings
are only $1.00 until December 25th!!!
All these words and saying are included in one set.

These are fun to put around your home decor...make terrific photo props for the family to hold while taking pictures....and are fun to craft with!
They just take a few sheets of cardstock....and you can print them as many times as you like....forever.
Just cut out....
and then have fun!!!

Happy Weekend....take time for yourself!

One more thing....
Get some Awesome free holiday tags from Helen Dardik on her blog!

My Corny Christmas!

I have collected lots of corny yet cute Christmas decorations throughout the years...I love the Kitsch.
I guess they remind me of the early 70's when I was a kid!
This is my set up of pinks and blues...very corny indeed...I love every piece!
Including my new mousey that came in a pack of random ornaments from Goodwill.
This tree made from wood came from a local craft show...so pretty!
I love angels made with wire and stretched tulle.

My heart goes out to Charlie Brown and his gang!
If you have not seen the new movie...you should...it is great!
These are frosty!

I got this book years ago...I love opening it up for instant happy memories

A very old Linus ornament
Sometimes it takes awhile to put up your goodies...but it is worth it.
We had very little holiday decor when growing up....but this Santa music box was a favorite...you pull him and he skis up the roof to the chimney!
More derpy stuff
A crafter made this clay nativity years ago...had to have it
Nothing better the a VW bus with tree on top!
I have stuff everywhere...this is part of my bookcase mantel
Mommy kissing Santa Claus
I just like to look at it all
Old china elves...sweet!
This world ornament is just scraps of an old map glued on a blank ornament.
cute!
Ballerina slippers....from the thrift store....who would get rid of that????

Stockings I made years ago for us.
Sweet prims!

Love this Santa!
I have had that snowman card for ages...just stuck it into a lil frame.
Love my wool hat on the statue
Shakespeare and santa.
My crazy reindeer I decorate!
Kitchen gingerbreads.
One last to share with you....this is a pic from my shopping adventures....just thought you would like this display....I wanted everything here!!!
